Amara Kamara

Amara is a complete athlete in all aspects of sports and fitness. From distance running and 100 meter sprints to local cycling races; Amara has done it all. In addition, Amara was a first division soccer player in his West African country of Liberia. As a life long athlete, Amara has always had a passion for fitness and an incredible drive to help people gain experience and achieve their fitness goals.
Amara has 17 years of experience as a personal trainer. The last nine years he also taught a variety of group fitness classes, including indoor cycling. Venues include: Tulane University of New Orleans, Minneapolis Lifetime Athletic Club, New York Sports Club in Springfield, New Jersey, and Essentials 4 Fitness, where he also served as personal training manager. Amara has helped people from all different walks of life. His number one mantra is: "People can make the changes in their life that they desire, if they truly believe in themselves. BELIEFS-CONSISTENCY-RESULTS."
As a grandfather group fitness instructor, nowadays, he admires smaller group fitness classes. "I love Pedal. It is very clean, well kept, and the class is not too large or too small. I am able to focus on every single student making sure his or her form is right, which is key in any exercise. I feel like I am having a one on one with each student".
