Pedal Classes

At Pedal, we are committed to concentrated and challenging workouts all while having a great time. These class offerings will help you build on your foundation and growth for a healthy indoor cycling experience.

 

Pedal Class Description

Pedal BRIDGE (75): Feel the need to be outside as much as possible, but still enjoy a good indoor cycling workout...then, this class is for you. Begin with an indoor ride similar to Pedal Roadtrip. Next, your instructor will take you on a run around the bridges of Old St. Anthony. Head back to Pedal to finish with some stretching in the indoors. If you wear biking shoes, make sure to bring an extra pair of running shoes for this class.

 

Pedal CORE (75): This ride mixes it up with varying speeds, resistance levels and intensities targeted at raising your heart rate and toning your lower body. Your instructor will guide you through a ride that you can tailor to fit your personal fitness goals and needs. Next you will hit the mat (we provide them or you can bring your own) for some core work that will leave you feeling strong.

 

Pedal ENDURANCE (60): A full body experience, focusing on strength while simultaneously toning both the upper and lower body. One of our most popular classes.


Pedal's Excellent Adventure (90): Get ready for a 90 minute endurance ride that features not one, but two instructors who will switch off in time increments during your ride. They'll take you through a consistent endurance focused ride offering a variety of music and great drills.

Pedal's Excellent Adventure will be the second or third Sunday of the month and will combine Brooke's and Corey's Sunday morning classes (which counts for only one for you!) to offer a different experience. It's a great way to push your body and rock your soul without leading to exhaustive fatigue or injury. You're welcomed to ride as long as you feel comfortable.

Enjoy the fantastic music and positive camaraderie of these combined classes and opportunity to burn 1000+ calories.

 

Pedal KARAOKE (45): Ok, so this might not be the most intense class we offer, but probably the most fun. You'll still get a workout, but think of it as a more stress releaser ride. You don't have to sing along, but we might just pull out your inner Mariah Carey or... Neil Diamond.

 

Pedal POWER (60): Your journey begins with a cardio ride of varying speeds, resistance levels and intensities targeted at raising your heart rate and toning your lower body. During your ride or after, you will use weights and/or resistance bands. You will focus on your upper body for muscle toning and increasing your bone density. This will also help you maintain flexibility and balance. Weights and resistance bands are available at the studio for your use, or you can bring your own.

 

Pedal ROADTRIP (45): This ride mixes it up with varying speeds, resistance levels and intensities targeted at raising your heart rate and toning your lower body. Your instructor will guide you through the 45 minute ride that you can tailor to fit your personal fitness goals and needs.

 

Pedal STRONG (90): Ready to test your limits. High intensity cycling pushes you to improve your cardiovascular and muscular endurance. Maximize your total body workout with a high calorie burn and metabolic impact. Offered in winter.

 

Pedal YOGA (70): This is a true mind, body and soul workout. Begin on the bike with a series of climbs, sprints and resistance. As your instructor brings down the intensity of the ride, you'll come back to focus on re-centering your body. Experience balanced harmony through specific asanas poses to end the class. It's a good idea to bring your own yoga mat but, we have some available for you to use at the studio.
